§ Mr. GRIFFITHSasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he is aware that certain disabled ex-service men, in temporary posts in the Civil Service, were unable to sit for the recent Civil Service examination on the ground that they had not had six months' temporary service up to the 31st May, 1924; whether he will explain the reason for this condition; and whether, in view of the fact that when the examination took place these men had had over 12 months' temporary service, he will consider the possibility of enabling them to qualify for examination now?
