THOMSONasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the Chinese Consular Service has reported to His Majesty's Government any infringements of the Chinese Arms Embargo Treaty, 1919; and, if so, whether any representations have been made to the Governments of the offending nationals?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINReports have been received from time to time of arms reaching China notwithstanding the Arms Embargo. The substance of these reports has been communicated to the other Governments concerned in the maintenance of the embargo for their information and such action as might be appropriate.
