Mr. SAMUELWith regard to the first part of the question, I would refer my1854W hon. and gallant Friend to the answer given by the President of the Board of Trade on 14th July to the hon. and gallant Member for Maidstone (Commander Bellairs), a copy of which I am sending him. The declared value of the exports of articles, the produce and manufacture of the United Kingdom, during 1913 was £525,254,000, The corresponding figure for 1924, excluding exports to the Irish Free State, was £752,993,000.
