§ Colonel LANE-FOXIt is not possible to state what wages would be under the proposals put forward by the Mining Association, as certain factors were left to be determined by negotiation in the various districts. In any case, now that a Court of Inquiry has been set up, I think that it is better to leave the Court to elicit the facts and figures and present them to the public.
