§ Colonel DAYasked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of the constant demand of the travelling public for third-class sleeping accommodation on long-distance night trains, he will introduce legislation to make it compulsory for all railway companies to provide facilities for this kind of sleeping accommodation on these trains?
§ Colonel ASHLEYI would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answer, of which I am sending him a copy, given on the 3rd March last, to a question on this subject asked by the hon. and gallant Member for Barnard Castle (Lieut.-Colonel Headlam).
