§ Sir B. CHADWICKThe quantities of imported raw fruit, nuts and raw vegetables exported from the United Kingdom during the year 1924, so far as particulars are available, were approximately as follows:
Cwts. Fresh fruits … 1,038,000 Nuts used as fruit … 177,600 Vegetables, raw … 348,700 The quantity of home-produced raw vegetables exported in the same year amounted to approximately 860,000 cwts.
