§ Miss WILKINSONasked the Minister of Labour whether, in considering measures for the relief of unemployment, he has consulted the Postmaster-General with regard to the advisability of putting in hand a programme of immediate and extensive development of the telephone system, in view of the employment which would thereby be created, especially for women, in the telephone manufacturing industry, as well as in a wide range of industries allied thereto?
