§ Colonel ENGLANDasked the Minister of Pensions the number of cases of ex-service men suffering from losses of limbs in which the pensions have been wholly or partly commuted; whether his attention has been called to the fact that arrears of commutation allowances have in many cases not been collected by the men concerned; and whether he can make any statement on the matter?
§ Major TRYONCommutation of a part of the pension has been allowed in 173 cases of men suffering from amputation of limb. No arrears of either pension or allowance have so far as I am aware remained uncollected by the men concerned.
