§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONThe repair of the Alderney cable has been unexpectedly delayed owing to bad weather, but was completed to-day. Notification of the interruption was not immediately circulated as it was anticipated that the cable would be repaired within a few days. Communication between this country and the Channel Islands generally was not interrupted.
