§ Mr. CHURCHILLInformation as to values is not available, but the quantity of tobacco delivered for home consumption at the preferential rate of duty from the 1st July, 1925, when the higher rate of preference under the Finance Act, 1925, took effect, to the 31st October last (the latest available date), was 5,579,000 lbs., as compared with 4,170,000 lbs, in the corresponding period of 1924.
