§ Sir B. CHADWICKI may perhaps refer my hon. Friend to the reply on this subject given by my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Secretary for the Department of Overseas Trade on the 7th instant, of which I am sending him a copy. My hon. Friend has since held a further conference with representatives of the interests concerned, and expects shortly to be able to announce that a satisfactory arrangement has been arrived at.
