GILMOURSince 1st January, 1920, the number of town planning schemes that have been approved in Scotland is two, namely, Dunfermline Burgh (Rosyth area) and Edinburgh Burgh (Fountainbridge area). The number of local authorities that have carried through the statutory procedure preliminary to the actual preparation of town-planning schemes is 20.
