§ Mr. McNEILLBonded warehouses for the storage of textiles did not exist before the introduction of the silk and artificial silk duties on the 1st July, 1925. Particulars of the total quantity or value of textiles lying in bonded warehouses in London on the 1st December, 1925, could not be obtained without considerable labour, but particulars of the approximate weight of silk and artificial silk contained in such textiles are being compiled, and will be furnished to the right hon. Member as soon as they are ready.
