§ Colonel DAYasked the Minister of Health if he is aware that two valuable 59W horses were burnt alive at a fire at Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, on the 24th November, 1925; that this town with a population of 15,000 has no fire brigade; and will he draw the attention of the local authority concerned to the provisions of the Public Health Act, 1875, as affecting protection from fire.
Mr. CHAMBERLAINMy attention has not been previously drawn to this matter, but I am communicating with the Council respecting the same.
