§ Mr. W. BAKERasked the Secretary of State for War whether it is proposed to reduce the rates of pay for the Army by amounts varying from 9d. a day in the case of privates to 2s. a day in the case of sergeant-majors; and whether it is proposed to make a reduction in the rates of pay of men in the Reserve called up for duty or will they be paid at the rates current at present while they are with the colours?
