§ Colonel DAYasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has considered the desirability of making representations to the French Government on behalf of British holders of French Government stocks for compensation on the loss of capital following the depreciation in the value of the franc; and whether it is proposed to take any action in this direction?
