§ Earl WINTERTONI have been asked to reply. Figures for the calendar years are not available. The total value of Indian merchandise exported to Germany in the year ending 31st March, 1914, was, in round figures, Rs.26 crores. The corresponding figure for 1922–23 (the latest year for which figures are available) was 22 crores.
