§ Major HORE-BELISHAasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he is aware of the particular incidence with which that Clause in the Pensions (Increase) Act, which provides that a pensioner who is over 60 years of age cannot derive any benefit, weighs upon the Royal Irish Constabulary pensioners, because they find it in most cases impossible to get work owing to the hostility against them for their former services on behalf of the Crown; and whether he can see his way to amend the provisions of this Act so that it shall apply to all pre-War pensioners of whatever age?
