1920–21 232 1921–22 1,770 1922–23 2,654 1923–24 566 From 1st April, 1924, to 31st December, 1924 92 The conditions which necessitated the introduction of His Majesty's Office of Works as a building agent no longer obtain, since local authorities are as a general rule in a position to make contracts on their own behalf on satisfactory terms.
