§ Sir B. FALLEasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether the Regulations governing leave to workmen employed in His Majesty s dockyard admit of workmen being granted leave from their work to attend courses at political colleges and to organise political campaigns; and, if so, whether, in view of the fact that such men receive pay whilst away on leave, he will authorise their places being filled by temporary entries from the unemployed?
§ Mr. AMMONThe Regulations governing leave to dockyard workmen do not admit of workmen being granted leave with pay for the purposes mentioned.
