§ Mr. WALSHThe hon. and gallant Member appears to be under a misapprehension. Except for days of attendance at courts-martial, courts of inquiry, and similar judicial occasions, payment is not 751W made to officers employed as interpreters without previous sanction of the Army Council. At the present time, no payment other than the above has been sanctioned by the Army Council.
