§ Mr. WHEATLEYI have received certain representations alleging inadequacy in the amount of assistance provided towards the relief of the civilian blind. These representations are receiving consideration, but I am not at present in a position to say whether the Government will be prepared to promote legislation on the subject, or whether any inquiry will be necessary.
