Mr. GREENWOODThe work done in this direction is reported in the annual reports of medical officers of health. These reports are examined in the Department in the ordinary course, and where it appears necessary the question of the adequacy of the work undertaken is taken up with the local authority. Separate records of this are not kept, but I will send the hon. Member a statement summarising the action taken by the local authorities.
