§ Mr. WIGNALLasked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that the Great Western Railway Company charge, approximately, 2d. per gallon for the carriage of milk from Gloucestershire to London, while the charge from Derby to London is 1½d. per gallon; and will he consider the introduction of legislation to make impossible such differentiation in railway charges?
§ Mr. GOSLINGI am not aware of the facts stated, but would remind my hon. Friend that the Railway Rates Tribunal was established by the Railways Act, 1921, to deal with questions affecting railway charges, and I see no necessity for further legislation.
