asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will give the tonnage of wheat and flour exported from the United States and Canada, respectively, to Great Britain and Northern Ireland for 1921, 1922, 1923 and the first three months of 1924?

The quantities of wheat and wheat flour imported into the United Kingdom during the periods specified, registered as consigned from the United States and from Canada, respectively, were as follow:

The import records for 1921, 1922 and for the first three months of 1923 include the direct imports from overseas into the ports of Southern Ireland. The wheat, imported into those ports from all countries in 1921 amounted to 241,795 tons and in 1922 to 206,205 tons. In addition, about 70,000 tons of wheat flour were imported in 1921 and about 50,000 tons in 1922. Particulars of the countries from which such wheat and flour were consigned are not immediately available,
