§ Mr. SHAWOver 6,000 disabled ex-service men have received training in commercial work in Great Britain under the industrial training scheme. I have no precise figures as to the number now employed in commercial work, but at the end of March, 1924, only about 5 per 451W cent. of them were registered as unemployed, as compared with more than 6 per cent. of insured males in the commercial group of occupations. A man who, after training, is unemployed solely on account of trade depression would not be eligible for a second course of training.
