§ Mr. WALSHThe reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative, the dischargee being mainly due to the diminution of the "aftermath" War work for which staff in excess of normal requirements was employed. As to the second part, I regret that I am not in a position to provide further employment for the men so discharged, since work at depots other than Woolwich is also decreasing.
