§ Sir T. ROBINSONasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the amount of annual revenue from the taxation of pleasure motor cars and commercial and industrial motors, respectively?
§ Mr. GOSLINGI have been asked to answer this question. It is not possible to distinguish accurately between motor vehicles used for pleasure purposes and those used for commercial or industrial purposes. A statement, of which I am sending the hon. Member a copy, was issued to the Press on 8th February, 1924, showing the gross proceeds of taxation, under each of the various taxation categories, for the calendar year 1923.
