§ Mr. DARBISHIREasked the Minister of Agriculture if it is intended at an early date to proceed in this House with the Wild Birds Protection Bill which passed the House of Lords last autumn, with a view to affording greater preservation to the lapwing?
Mr. HENDERSONI am in entire sympathy with the suggested Measure, but I am afraid there will be great difficulty in finding Parliamentary time for the Bill this Session, unless the Government can be assured of a substantial measure of agreement.
