STARMERasked the President of the Board of Education whether, having regard to the urgency of the 2576W matter, he is now in a position to sanction the erection of a school at Dormanstown, in the borough of Redcar, which was petitioned for in December, 1922, by all the parents and has the support of the borough council, the North Riding County Education Committee, and the local education authority?
§ Mr. C. TREVELYANAs I informed the hon. Member on the 28th February last, I am inquiring into this matter. I am fully aware of the circumstances of this case and I understand that the local education authority have the matter under consideration. I shall be ready to give immediate and favourable attention to any satisfactory proposals when I receive them from the local education authority.
