THORNEasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether any suggestion has been received from the Irish Free State Government for the resumption of the Conference summoned by him on the subject of the Irish boundaries which was opened on 1st February and adjourned to a later date; and, if so, what steps is he prepared to take for the settlement of the boundaries issue?
§ Mr. CLYNESYes, Sir. It has unfortunately been necessary to delay a further meeting of the Conference owing to the regrettable illness of the Prime Minister of Northern Ireland, but His Majesty's Government is at present in communication with both Irish Governments with a view to the resumption of the Conference at the earliest possible date.
