§ Colonel PERKINSasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware of the continued suffering of men who cannot obtain any decision in respect of claims they have sent in to the Reparation Claims Department, and which are regarded as belated; and whether, in view of their distress, he will expedite the Report of the Commission which has to decide as to the policy which shall be adopted with respect to these claims?
Mr. ALEXANDERThe Final Report of the Royal Commission has been presented to Parliament (Cmd. 2066). As to the policy to be adopted with regard to belated claims, I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answer given to the hon. Member for Birkenhead East (Mr. G. White) on the 11th March.
