§ Mr. LAWSONI regret I am not in a a position to make any special proposals. I would, however, point out that no discharges except on account of age or other special causes are at present taking place from the factories. The discharges from the Army Ordnance Department are necessitated by reduction of work, but in selecting men for discharge due regard will be paid to length of service.
