§ Mr. MURRAYasked the Postmaster-General if he can accelerate the morning delivery of letters in Bridge-of-Weir, Renfrewshire, as under the present arrangements many daily travellers to Glasgow leave Bridge-of-Weir about 8.45 a.m. and have no opportunity of seeing their morning letters until their return in the evening?
2166W
§ Mr. HARTSHORNThe mails are received at Bridge-of-Weir by the first train in the morning which arrives at 6.55 a.m. The delivery commences at 7.45 a.m. and in present circumstances I am afraid no material acceleration is practicable; but the local arrangements are being looked into.
