MITCHELL-THOMSONasked the Attorney-General whether his attention has been called to the fact that the liability of trustees, whether individual or corporate, under the existing Acts is materially greater than that of the Public Trustee under the Act of 1906; and whether he will consider the introduction of legislation to remove this anomaly?
§ Sir PATRICK HASTINGSI do not accept the suggestion that the liability of an ordinary trustee is materially, if at all, greater than that of the Public Trustee, and there does not appear to be any necessity for the introduction of legislation on the subject.
