§ Mr. WHEATLEYIt is assumed that the hon. Member refers to the Housing Act of 1923. The amount of Exchequer subsidy payable annually for 20 years, subject to the erection of the number of houses authorised, in respect of English and Welsh schemes approved to date under that Act is approximately as follows:
£ England 620,000 Wales 30,000 As regards Scotland, I would suggest that the hon. Member should address a similar question to my right hon. Friend the Secretary for Scotland.
