asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if the Irish Free State will take over any portion of the National Debt; and, if so, what percentage of the whole?

Mr. SNOWDEN

The proportion of the National Debt for which the Irish Free State will assume liability will be determined at the ultimate financial settlement, in accordance with Article 5 of the Treaty.
