HC Deb 04 March 1924 vol 170 c1219W
Sir R. ASKE

asked the Attorney-General whether it is the intention of the Government to introduce a Bill embodying the principles of the County Courts Bill introduced by the late Government in July, 1923; and whether this will be done at an early date?

Sir PATRICK HASTINGS

The Government propose to introduce, at the earliest possible date which the state of public business allows, a Bill identical, except for Drafting Amendments, with the County Courts Bill of 1923, and hope that they may receive the assistance of all parties in passing this non-contentious Measure into law at an early date.
