§ Mr. PONSONBYThe Foreign Office records are already open down to the end of the year 1860 without any further supervision than that which is exercised over the use of all records preserved at the Public Record Office. My right hon. Friend the Prime Minister has already under consideration a substantial advance from this date, but the matter is one of those which require previous consultation with the Dominions. If the hon. Member will put down another question during the Autumn Session, I may be able to give him more precise details.
