Mr. THOMASThe circumstances in which Saiyid Talib Pasha was deported from Iraq were stated in the House on the 10th May, 1921, by the Secretary of State of the day in reply to a question by the hon. Member for Stafford (Mr. Ormsby-Gore). It has not hitherto been found practicable to permit Saiyid to return. I have the whole question under my consideration at the present time.
