§ Mr. MIDDLETONThe Ecclesiastical Commissioners, in co-operation with the London County Council, are endeavouring to formulate a joint scheme for the clearance and re-development, by the erection of dwellings for the working classes, of an area in Lambeth now occupied by old and more or less worn-out cottages. The property has not been condemned by the local authority.
