§ Mr. SHAWThe contribution paid by the State to the Unemployment Fund is as follows:
The Estimates for 1924–25 include an amount of £12,827,000, which is not expected to be affected by any proposals introduced into Parliament this year. The proposal to bring juveniles between the the age of 14–16 into insurance, if proceeded with, would increase the State grant in 1924–25 by £220,000.
