Mr. MOSLEY

asked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been called to the alleged unsatisfactory and dangerous state of the drainage system in the St. Margaret's road district of Hanwell and to the serious outbreak of diphtheria of a virulent type in the same district; and whether he will cause inquiry to be made into the adequacy of the drainage system of this large residential district?

I am in communication with the district council regarding this complaint.
