§ Mr. WALSHMarriage allowances are paid in respect of the wives and children of soldiers over 26 years of age serving with the British Army at Cologne. The allowances are payable to the soldier himself if his wife is resident with him at his station, and to the wife if she is prevented from living with her husband by the exigencies of the service.
