Mr. ROBERTSIf, as I presume, my hon. Friend has in mind the case to which he referred in his question of the 28th instant, I may point out that the Ministry defray the cost of an escort where, as in the present instance, it was found to be necessary. The case is not one which, under the terms of the warrant, is appropriately dealt with by way of treatment allowances, but by increase of pension if the man's condition is found to justify it. I may add that, in consequence of the revised diagnosis now suggested, the man is being examined by a special board, who will determine the rate of assessment proper to his condition.
