§ Mr. R. MORRISONasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that petrol-measuring pumps are not measures within the scope of the Weights and Measures Acts; and, in view of the fact that inspectors have no power to test the accuracy of these pumps, whether he will introduce legislation to make petrol-measuring pumps subject to the provisions of the Weights and Measures Acts?
Mr. ALEXANDERA Bill to give effect to the suggestion made by my hon. Friend has already passed the House of Lords, and I hope it will be possible to proceed with it in this House after the Recess.
