HC Deb 29 July 1924 vol 176 c1900W
Mr. MACLEAN

asked the Minister of Pensions whether he is aware that for the past three years 2s. per week has been deducted from a pension of 8s. per week granted to Mr. John Deery, No. 1/M.D./1,300, of George Drive, Govan, and that on 27th June Mr. Deery was notified by the regional director, Edinburgh, that 4s. 6d. pet week would be deducted, leaving only 3s. 6d. per week to be drawn by this man: and state what steps he is prepared to take to secure the payment of a more adequate proportion of his pension to Deery?

Mr. MUIR

I am inquiring into the facts of this case, and will communicate later with my hon. Friend.
