HC Deb 25 July 1924 vol 176 c1634W
Captain TERRELL

asked the Prime Minister, whether, in view of the fact that the Standing Committees are still about to consider fresh legislation, he is in a position to state what. facilities will be afforded by the Government to any of the existing private Members' Measures?

Mr. CLYNES

In several instances the-Government have already taken over or have given facilities for Bills introduced by private Members; but it is not possible at the moment to indicate which of the other private Members' Bills that have been introduced can be facilitated in this manner. This must depend on the state of Parliamentary business when the House re-assembles in the Autumn.
