Mr. ROBERTSI assume the hon. and gallant Member refers to allowances granted to this officer under the Regu- 1531W lations of the Special Grants Committee in respect of his wife and children. Major Iredale's applications have received very careful consideration, but the Committee decided that they were not in a position to renew the allowances. If, however, the hon. and gallant Member has any additional facts in support of the application, and will let me know, I will refer them to the Committee for their consideration.
