HC Deb 22 July 1924 vol 176 c1131W
Mr. SEXTON

asked the Minister of Labour if his attention has been called to the case of G. R. Gibson, of 22, Upper Hill Street, Liverpool, an ex-service man whose application to the Civil Liability Commissioners has been refused on the ground that he had not applied within the time limit; and, in view of the fact that he is now totally incapacitated from work of any kind, will he reconsider his case to enable his wife to open up the business of a boarding-house to which she was accustomed previous to her husband's incapacity, alleged to have been the result of War service?

Mr. SHAW

The facts are as stated in my hon. Friend's question. I am, however, still considering the case and will communicate again with my hon. Friend.
